I challenge you-answer. Imagine that you are creating a fabric of human destiny with the object of making men happy in the end, giving them peace and rest at last, but that it was essential and inevitable to torture to death only one tiny creature-that little child beating its breast with its fist for instance- and to found that edifice on its unavenged tears, would you consent to be the architect on those conditions? tell me, and tell me the truth.

In other words, these girls that you idolize and post so easily on your page- what did they do to earn those pictures Josh? You tell me. What did they do to earn those pictures?

Did they spend years trying to support you through all your emotional and financial bullshit? Did they pack cars with camping gear and plan meals and give massages and help you study for tests and support your photography and on and on and on?

No, I didn't think so.

But the girl who DID do these things gets a CD full of useless pictures and a snide comment on the telephone that none of them were worth anything.

And you want to be my friend, huh? You want to be my friend while you try and date your bipolar suicidal neighbor down the street that you dumped me for?

Are you kidding me?

What a fucking joke.

It's pretty pathetic that you can't even face the fact that you're 27 years old on a webpage. Are you trying to appear younger for the teenage girls you love so much?

You spelled "academia" wrong which is a joke in itself...

And I threw away your picture CD after two FRUSTRATING months of not being able to unlock ANY of my pictures.

So thanks for nothing Josh.
As usual.

And say hello to your hyperactive bipolar suicidal neighbor for me. The girl whose picture was "good enough" to post on your page.

Hypocrite.

Yeah, go ahead and block me out Josh because you can handle the truth about anything, especially yourself.

You want an advanced critique?
Let me just say that “Cold Nights” is a perfect example of how your photos are nothing but technical exercises. If there IS some meaning to be seen, it’s contrived or accidental. Perched awkwardly on the head of an academic statue, and staring off into space. And what’s the big metaphor here? A girl in a sweatshirt that's posed like a gargoyle? Whatever.

I'm angry because it takes longer to photoshop an image and post it on Deviant than it does to put my pictures on a CD and run them down to the post office. It's disgusting.

And for the record, I would much rather look at Greg’s less-than-technically-correct picture of Sylvie than most of the portraits in your gallery because his intention is crystal clear. Greg wanted a casual picture of a girl he’s deeply in love with. He wanted her smile. The image has heart and a purity of intention. That you have the gall to give Greg a mini-lecture on photographic philosophy is some kind of joke when many of your pictures fall short of your own advice.

And spare us the self-important watermarks.

Your pictures don’t say enough to be stolen.
Hi Brother. Love you! We have places to go next time you are here.
